Children’s Homes of Iredell County is comprised of 4  group homes, each designed to provide a foster home environment and high quality therapeutic care for children and youth, ages new born to 21 years of age.  Most children have come to us because of abuse and neglect; many have witnessed, or have been victims of, domestic or community violence. The Mooresville Graded School District is located in the town of Mooresville, NC, approximately 30 miles north of Charlotte in the Southern Piedmont region of North Carolina. A district of approximately 6,000 students, MGSD consists of three elementary schools, two intermediate schools, two middle school, and one high school, as well as an alternative learning academy on its N.F. Woods Campus.
